2006, Trimbach Pinot Blanc
This archetypal Pinot Blanc is fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks, with no malolactic fermentation. The grapes were sourced from the Trimbachs' own vineyards and about 120 growers with whom the family has long term relationships, and vinified at the Trimbach winery in the town of Ribeauvillé, in the heart of Alsace. The fruit was harvested in late September through early October. It is a all-around winner of a white, with clean citrus fruit, classic structure and bright acidity. Wonderful with food or without

Gasbarro is the owner of Chris Gasbarro's
Fine Wine & Spirits on Route 6 in Seekonk, Massachusetts
and on Route 136 in Swansea, Massachusetts. Chris is a third generation
member of a clan whose name is synonymous with fine wines in this
region. Chris has spent a great deal of time exploring different
regions and countries learning about their wines. Frequent trips
to Italy, France, Germany and California allow him to enhance his
knowledge of the wine industry and bring back his experiences to
share with his friends and customers.
Chris authors a weekly column, "Ask the Expert," which
is featured in The Pawtucket Times. His goal has always been to
educate the customer and demystify shopping for wine. With a little
education and practice it is easy and fun to find great wine at
a reasonable price. Being part of a community of wine lovers, sharing
ideas, favorite finds, fabulous food and friendship is a Gasbarro
tradition.
Chris Gasbarro's Fine Wine & Spirits
features a selection of more that 6000 fine wines and a team of
wine experts always available to assist with your selection.
Store hours are Monday – Friday 9:00am-10:00pm at both locations
and Sundays Noon-6:00pm in Seekonk and Noon-5:00pm in Swansea.
