The wine has a fine, deep red colour. The nose displays notes of spice, together with vanilla, cinnamon and toast aromas and a strong suggestion of blackcurrant, blackberry and liquorice. These berry fruit flavours are again to the fore in the mouth, sustained by elegant, well-rounded tannins.
The finish, rich, round and pleasantly full, combines hints of oak with notes of spice and toast.

Very good Mouton, but not outstanding; lacks a bit of fruit in the center palate. Good dark ruby color, with lovely mineral, spice and currant aromas. Medium-bodied, with silky tannins and a light, fruity finish.
